project info
Hospitals provide medical care for the sick and injured. But no matter how noble and pure their purpose is, nobody likes to be sick and prefers avoiding them. This leaves a general negative impression on the image of the institutions.
America for Bulgaria Foundation and Pirogov aimed to change that. They started a project focused on the transformation of Pirogov’s Children Ward to make its patients’ stay more pleasant. Three floors, 65 rooms or in other words 2 270 square meters went through a complete makeover. With our aid for the illustrations and navigation system the children’s hospital turned into the colorful and magical world our little friends deserve, which lead to numerous smiles and happier kids (parents, doctors and staff as well).

In order to avoid what usually happens in fairytales where everyone gets lost, we created a bilingual signage/navigation system for our little heroes. This way we are sure all offices, rooms and surgical cabinets are easy to find.
